Think Green is a Scottsdale-based residential landscape design-build company. We started because we kept seeing the same problem: homeowners got handed off between designers, contractors, and suppliers who never talked to each other — and the yard paid for it.
We handle planning, materials, scheduling, and construction under one roof. One point of contact, one accountable team, from the first site walk to the final walkthrough.
Our Story
Built in Arizona, For Arizona Yards
Think Green started with a simple observation: most landscaping in the Phoenix Valley was designed for somewhere else. Plants that couldn't handle 115-degree summers. Drainage that failed the first monsoon. Hardscape that cracked because no one accounted for how the ground moves here.
We've spent over 15 years learning how Arizona yards actually behave — the caliche layers in North Scottsdale that need proper excavation, the SRP flood irrigation schedules in Arcadia, the HOA palette restrictions across Desert Mountain and Troon North, the elevation changes in Cave Creek that demand real drainage engineering before a single paver goes down.
That knowledge isn't something you pick up from a design book. It comes from being on-site in every season, across every soil type, in every neighborhood we serve.

We specify materials based on how they perform in Phoenix heat, monsoon rain, and Arizona soil — not how they photograph in a catalog. Travertine, concrete pavers, flagstone, desert-adapted plants, drip systems, and lighting fixtures are all selected with longevity in mind. What looks good at install still needs to look good in five years.
